Campaign Priorities

Support Police & Fire

Public safety is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Frisco residents consistently express how much they value feeling safe in our city. That sense of safety doesn’t happen by accident — it’s the result of the professionalism and dedication of our Police and Fire personnel who serve every day with excellence.

Frisco’s safety and quality of life depend on strong, ongoing support for our first responders — the men and women who help protect what makes our community special.

Key Priorities:

  • Invest in staffing and training: As our population expands, we must ensure our Police and Fire Departments have the personnel, equipment, and training to meet increasing service demands — not just for today, but for the Frisco of 2035 and beyond.
  • Focus on response times: Continued investment in strategically located fire stations, advanced technology, and dispatch improvements helps maintain Frisco’s exceptional emergency response times — one of the benchmarks that keeps our city among the safest in America.
  • Enhance community connection: Frisco’s Police and Fire teams do more than respond to emergencies — they are an active, trusted part of our community. We must continue fostering partnerships that build trust, promote safety education, and strengthen neighborhood engagement.

Frisco has set a high standard for public safety. Let’s sustain that excellence and give our first responders the resources and support they need to keep Frisco one of the safest and most connected communities in the nation.

Keep Frisco Moving

Managing traffic isn’t just about convenience — it’s about safety, smart planning, and preserving the quality of life that draws people here in the first place.

Key Priorities:

  • Plan ahead for growth: Road infrastructure must keep pace with development. Coordinating transportation improvements with new construction — not after — is key to reducing congestion.
  • Invest in signal timing and smart technology: Better traffic flow can often be achieved through data-driven improvements, not just new lanes. Frisco’s Traffic Management Center has made great strides, and expanding those smart solutions citywide will help even more.
  • Focus on safety for all: Whether driving, biking, or walking, our streets should be safe for everyone. That includes maintaining crosswalks, school zones, and neighborhood signage that protect our families.
  • Collaborate regionally: Many of Frisco’s busiest roads cross city lines. Working with Collin and Denton counties, and neighboring cities, helps us tackle congestion where it really starts.

Reliable, well-planned traffic solutions are essential to keeping Frisco safe, connected, and accessible for everyone.

Smart Growth & Responsible Planning

Good planning means growing wisely — with our residents and infrastructure in mind. Smart growth ensures Frisco remains a well-designed, connected, and livable community.

Frisco’s success is the result of careful planning and a shared vision. Looking ahead, we must continue attracting businesses that align with our community values and future needs — such as technology, cybersecurity, and medical research — creating well-paying jobs and opportunities for young professionals and families.

Key Priorities:

  • Balance is key: Growth should align with infrastructure, schools, and city services to maintain the quality of life our residents expect.
  • Protect Frisco’s character: As we plan for the future, we must preserve what makes Frisco special — our vibrant neighborhoods, strong schools, and welcoming community feel.
  • Promote reinvestment: Encouraging revitalization in established areas keeps our city thriving and reduces pressure for unchecked expansion.
  • Plan with purpose: Smart zoning, coordinated transportation planning, and a long-range vision help Frisco stay ahead rather than reacting to change.

Smart growth isn’t about saying yes or no to development — it’s about asking the right questions before decisions are made. Thoughtful, responsible planning keeps residents at the heart of every decision.

Strengthen Regional Relationships

Frisco’s success is closely tied to the communities around us. Working collaboratively with neighboring cities and the greater Dallas region allows us to address challenges that don’t stop at city limits — from transportation and infrastructure to economic opportunity and quality of life.

Frisco is part of a dynamic region that continues to evolve. To remain strong, we must ensure that our relationships with neighboring communities are prosperous, balanced, and mutually beneficial. By planning together, we can solve shared challenges more effectively and position our region for long-term success.

Key Priorities:

  • Transportation coordination: Major roadways and corridors cross multiple cities. Regional partnerships help improve traffic flow, enhance mobility, and strengthen long-term planning for commuters and residents alike.
  • Shared infrastructure and resources: Challenges like water supply, emergency response, and major utilities require cooperation to keep costs manageable and systems reliable.
  • Economic collaboration: Working together attracts high-quality employers, supports small business growth, and strengthens our collective ability to compete for strategic investment.
  • Unified advocacy: When North Texas cities speak with one voice at the state and federal levels, we’re more likely to secure funding and policies that benefit our communities.

Strong regional relationships don’t take away from Frisco’s identity — they help protect it.

By working together with our neighbors, we can shape smart solutions that benefit our residents, strengthen our economy, and keep our entire region thriving.

Support & Connect Our Communities

Every resident should feel included in the opportunities, resources, and sense of belonging that make Frisco a place where people can thrive. Frisco is strongest when everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

A healthy, vibrant city takes care of its people — all of them. As our community grows, we must ensure every resident has pathways to opportunity and independence.

One growing need is support for adults with special needs. Frisco has a rising population of young adults aging out of school-based programs who deserve continued access to meaningful activities, job training, social coaching, and life-skills development. Creating a community center dedicated to these services could open doors for those who are underrepresented — while also connecting capable adults with available jobs.

Our veterans also need a permanent home — a dedicated space for meetings, training, and events. Organizations like the VFW and American Legion provide vital support to veterans and families yet often lack a consistent facility. A multi-use center could serve these groups while doubling as rentable event space to offset costs — meeting a deeply felt need here in Frisco.

These are big goals — but achievable ones. As City Councilwoman, Ann will work with state and federal partners to identify funding opportunities and collaborate with city staff and community organizations to explore how existing assets could be repurposed to meet these needs.

Key Priorities:

  • Access to city services: Every household should have clear access to city programs, public safety resources, and information — regardless of neighborhood or background.
  • Community outreach and partnerships: Collaborating with nonprofits, schools, and faith-based organizations connects residents to housing, food, education, and health resources where they’re needed most.
  • Engagement and representation: Frisco thrives when diverse voices are part of decision-making. Encouraging participation across all neighborhoods builds trust and strengthens community ties.
  • Support veterans: Continue honoring our veterans by ensuring access to resources, employment opportunities, and community support — helping veterans and their families thrive here at home.
  • Invest where it matters: Strategic investment in infrastructure, public spaces, and programs across all areas of the city ensures that every resident enjoys the same high quality of life that defines Frisco.

Building a connected, compassionate city keeps Frisco strong, united, and future-ready for everyone who calls it home
